MINISTRIESChurch Beyond the Walls seeks to share the Gospel and impact lives through the mission of Hunter Hill First Baptist Church, increasing public awareness about the move of God. Courtesy Guild greets and welcomes all who enter the church doors and host special events held at the church. Cuisine Ministry prepares and serves food for all major church functions and maintains the kitchen facility. Deacons & Deaconesses provides assistance, counseling, and comfort to members of the congregation as may be in need. They serve as an extension of the Pastor to reach those persons he may not be able to contact personally. Doorkeepers Ministry assists congregants during worship services with seating and supplying bulletins, envelopes and tissue. Evangelism Ministry is a ministry designed to reach the oppressed and wounded, as well as to those who are marching blindly to everlasting death, being seperated from God. We aim to reach the masses by sharing the Good News about Jesus Christ. Fit for the Kingdom is a ministry designed to utilize the athletic arena as a tool to develop and grow in mind, body, and spirit through exercise and organized sports throughout the year. Food Pantry provides non-perishable items to United Way referred persons in need of grocery assistance. Girl Scouts is an adventure in learning that offers activities that address both current interests and future roles as a woman. The girls acquire an understanding about themselves and others through meaningful community service and friendship. Media Ministry seeks to carry the unchanging gospel of Jesus Christ to an ever-changing world through the use of technology and media. Men's Ministry to teach, equip and inspire men to be strong and courageous warriors who defend, protect and advance the cause of Christ. Ministerial Alliance is to enlighten, empower and encourage the ministers of Hunter Hill to be models of biblical, Christians according to the principles of 1 Timothy; and to encourage involvement of the ministers in the ministries of the church. Music Ministry uses the gift of music through which the Holy Spirit can minister, encouraging and uplifting those who know Him and reaching out to those who do not. New Members Ministry makes sure all new members are properly welcomed into the congregation and smoothly transitioned into active involvement. All new members can attend class during Sunday School each Sunday morning at 9:00 AM. Parking Lot Ministry directs and assists in facilitating ample parking for worship services and church events. Forever Young Seniors Ministry keeps seniors involved in the work of the Lord making sure that their individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are being met. S.A.L.T. Singles Ministry provides opportunities for spiritual growth to singles through regular bible study, Christian fellowship through recreational and cultural activities, and evangelical opportunities through community outreach activities. Scholarship Ministry evaluates applicants for scholarships available to high school seniors or fulltime undergraduate college students. Security Ministry seeks to equip an atmosphere of safety.
School of the Word seeks to aid in the fulfillment of the 5-fold purpose of the church by a strategic and effective presentation of biblical principles relevant to individuals at every stage in a complete life development process. Classes are each Sunday morning at 9:00 AM. Two-N-One Couples Ministry is a ministry open to married couples of all ages to further develop couple's relationship based on God's Word, as well as establish relationships and fellowship with other married couples. Womens Ministry equip our women toward maturity in Christ, fellowship with one another, service through our church, sharing Jesus with family, friends and others, and involvement in missions locally and around the world. Youth Ministry empowers our young people to live as disciples of Christ, and foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person. |
